About Me
Hi, I’m a hobbyist woodworker who started this journey years ago with nothing more than a passion for working with my hands and a deep respect for the materials I use.
Originally from Namibia and now based in Perth, Western Australia, I’ve always been inspired by how different cultures - and different timbers -can come together to create something meaningful. Each type of wood has its own grain, tone, and personality, and when blended thoughtfully, they tell a story that’s greater than the sum of their parts.
That’s what I aim for in every board I make. Built with care and intention, each piece is unique - just like the people who use them.

Board Care
To keep your board looking beautiful and lasting for years, follow these simple tips:
- Wipe clean with a damp cloth and dishwashing liquid after each use -never soak or put it in the dishwasher.
- Dry upright or on its side to allow air to circulate and prevent warping.
- Oil regularly with food-safe mineral oil or board butter to keep the wood nourished and prevent drying or cracking - once a month is a good rule of thumb, or whenever it looks dry.
- Avoid harsh chemicals or heavy scrubbing; a gentle clean goes a long way.
With just a little care, your board will develop even more character over time.
